Julia’s Butterfly Foundation celebrated their 6th Annual Butterfly Ball at Macaluso’s in Hawthorne last Saturday night. The ball raised over $100,000 to help terminally and chronically ill children receive financial and physical assistance and/or services not covered by insurance companies. The evening included a dinner, silent auction and dancing to ESP Entertainment. Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken donated the specialty dessert cake. Corporate sponsors included Tiffany & Company, Devon Fine Jewelers, The Market Basket, Associated Cut Flower, Sal Lauretta, FIRM Insurance and the DSM Group.

Julia’s Butterfly Foundation is a volunteer, non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization, dedicated to improving the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. The foundation aligns itself with hospital hospice programs, including Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, Hackensack University Medical Center and The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital in Hackensack.
