Olivia Blois Sharpe
the bergen.com bio
Born and raised in Montville Township, N.J., Olivia Blois Sharpe was a hard-core tomboy. The feisty "Jersey Girl" played the drums, loved snowboarding and participated in every sport her community had to offer. It wasn't until middle school that she traded sports bras for push-up bras and basketballs for lip gloss. This is when her love of makeup, hair, fashion and all things beauty, began. In high school, Sharpe let her inner diva shine as she starred in several high school plays and joined the school’s photography and videography clubs. Upon graduation, Sharpe attended County College of Morris where she studied fashion, art history and design and made the decision thatshe really wanted to focus on beauty. She put away the pens and paper and took out her makeup brush and blush and graduated from Christine Valmy International School of Beauty. Since then, Sharpe has worked for several high-clientele salons, including The Gatsby and Anthony Robert Salon as well as working under Alexa Prisco as a "Glam Fairy." A little-known fact about Sharpe is that she loves to sing and actually is the vocalist singing the "Jerseylicious" theme song. Sharpe also thinks dancing to a great beat is the best stress reliever and using clothing and makeup is a great way of expressing herself. She loves making a statement and fashion and beauty is her therapy. Her motto: "Confidence is the greatest accessory."
