When Lidia Bastianich travels to New Jersey for an appearance at Whole Foods in Paramus on Monday, it will be a homecoming of sorts. The doyenne of Italian cuisine got her start in North Bergen, where she and her family lived when they first came to this country from Italy in 1958.
