Waldwick has always been associated with transportation, and many who work in New York City have found it a particularly family-friendly spot from which to commute. It's served by two train lines (the Bergen County and the Main line) and bisected by Franklin Turnpike and Route 17, major arteries for traversing the northwest suburbs. Housing is mostly single-family, and the population includes a mix of families, seniors and singles.

This Tuesday, March 8 is Mardi Gras and once again, Waldwick’s Andrea Mistretta has designed the poster for the celebration in New Orleans. For more than 25 years, Mistretta’s illustrations have been iconic to the festivities for this popular event – so much so that the artist herself has been declared an honorary citizen of New Orleans.

Postal Workers of The Little School of Waldwick delivered special Valentines to their classmates on Monday as they celebrated Valentine's Day. The Valentine Party was a culmination of their lesson about mail and how it connects people all over the globe. Each student created a U.S. Mail bag that was filled to the brim with sweet treats and love!
