Monica Delehanty, 16, of Harrington Park, was awarded the title of Miss Senior "Dancers Inc." 2011.

A long time student of Anita Ehrler's Dance Extensions in Park Ridge, Delehanty participated in the four-day competition in Waterbury, Conn. last month.

She was evaluated on her skills in a variety of dance styles, performing, learning choreography, question and answer segments, as well as rehearsing a performance for the opening number at the final showcase performance.

As a title holder she will now represent the Dancers Inc. Company and Anita Ehrler's Dance Extensions, throughout the United States until she gives up the title in July 2012.
