BergenPAC says Farewell to Executive Director David Rodriguez, the celebration and tribute to Rodriguez was kicked off by songstress Alex (the daughter of ABC 7 News anchor Lori Stokes who emceed the private event). There were special performances also by Board Member and Broadway performer Kelli Rabke Agresta and bergenPAC’s Education Director, Alexander Diaz. Rodriguez received a proclamation from Assemblywoman Valerie V. Huttle and was celebrated with heartfelt words by Mayor Frank Huttle III and presented with a gift from the staff, a special memento from the Union (Stage Hands). Rodriguez will be missed but promised that he will always be available to bergenPAC as a resource and possible partnerships in the future.
After seven years Rodriguez resigned his position at the theater to accept the newly created position of Executive Producer/VP at New Jersey Performing Arts Center. In that capacity, Rodriguez will focus on expanding programming and broadcasting opportunities related to the nation's sixth largest arts center in Newark. Rodriguez, a resident of Englewood, promised to remain a friend of the theater as Englewood is his home and bergenPAC will always remain in his heart having worked at the theater previously when it was John Harms.
