New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony and wife LaLa Vasquez have their sights set on North Jersey for their humble abode, according to TMZ. Earlier reports had the power couple looking in NYC, particulary Alex Rodriguez's neck of the woods.
The reasoning behind the decision is the simple fact of raising their 3-year-old son in a more spacious family environment. The allure of owning a larger property in North Jersey with a big yard to run around in appears to be the number one selling point.
Speculation suggests that Alpine would be the perfect area for the family with multiple friends in the area and a close proximity to home court, Madison Square Garden. Some of the past and present celebs of Alpine include Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, the Jonas Brothers, LL Cool J, Chris Rock, CC Sabathia, Stevie Wonder, Illya Kovalchuck, Wesley Snipes and Lil' Kim.
