The Bergen County Council of Irish Associations held its annual Grand Marshal's Dinner and Celebration of Irish Culture on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Graycliff Manor in Moonachie.
The BCCIA introduced Gerry Flood as the 2012 grand marshal of the Bergen County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The council also honored Denis Mulcahy, recipient of the council's 2011 Humanitarian Award; James Early, recipient of the council's 2011 Turlough O'Carolan Award for music and dance; and Professor Christine Kinealy, Ph.D., recipient of the 2011 William Butler Yeats Award for literature.
