THE ANSWER: The Oradell Reservoir, formed by the completion of the Oradell Dam in 1923, is the largest body of water exclusive to Bergen County. In addition to Oradell, the reservoir straddles property in Haworth, Emerson, Closter and Harrington Park. It is managed by United Water and provides drinking water to an estimated 750,000 residences in Bergen and Hudson counties.
