The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) hosted its 2014 "Spring into Music" gala this past Saturday at NJPAC in Newark, featuring a cocktail reception, dinner and silent auction, followed by a live orchestrated POPS concert to the movie The Wizard Of Oz.

The gala’s honorees were former Governor Brendan Byrne and his wife, Ruthi, in honor of the Governor’s 90th birthday.

All proceeds from the gala event will support the NJSO as it enriches lives through its artistic, music education and community engagement programs.
