About 1,000 "American Idol" hopefuls have entered the Izod Center this morning for their shot at stardom.

This last-minute audition for the 11th season of the hit Fox competition will go on all day.

Gina Marie Enriquez, a 15-year-old from Englewood Cliffs, was picked out of the crowd for an on-camera interview with host Ryan Seacrest.

“It’s really cool finally being in the moment here,” said Enriquez. She has watched the show since she was 5 years old.

She will sing “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse when she gets her chance to meet the show’s producers.
