"Glee" star and Tenafly native Lea Michele announced Monday that she is the newest spokesmodel for L'Oréal Paris. Her first ads will start appearing in early 2013 in print and on TV.

"Growing up onstage, I was introduced to makeup at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L'Oréal Paris iconic lipstick—it was instant glamour, and I've been hooked ever since!" said Michele in a release.

Other L'Oréal ambassadors include Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Julianna Margulies.

"I'm such a fan of L'Oréal Paris not just for all of their amazing products, but for what they stand for," said Michele.
