On Stage: Jersey Boy breaks loose

Off a successful run as Frankie Valli in the Broadway hit "Jersey Boys," Jarrod Spector is bringing his solo show, "Minor Fall, Major Lift," to New Jersey.

TELL ME MORE: There is no genre left unsung in this solo show. Spector will cover The Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, Bobby Darin, Chicago, Bon Jovi, Barry Manilow and even Led Zeppelin. The Philadelphia native also performed the role of Valli in the Chicago production before playing the legendary singer on Broadway.

DETAILS: 8 p.m. Saturday at the Sharp Theater, Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts, Ramapo College of New Jersey, 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah. Tickets are $24 to $30, $20 for children under 17 and 5 percent off for seniors. 201-684-7844 or ramapo.edu/berriecenter.
