Bergen foodies have eclectic tastes, choosing these very different establishments as the best new restaurants in the county. Noel and Eileen “Biddy” O’Malley have brought a taste of County Clare to Northvale. There are standards like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie, but Biddy’s has an eclectic menu of American favorites. There is also a children’s menu for the “itty Biddys.” Next is Empanada Mania, for those who are mad about those tasty turnovers. Their savory meat pies leave customers begging for more.
