Sanjiv and Madhuri Patankar of Ridgewood announce the engagement of their daughter, Radhika Sanjiv Patankar, to Carter William Anderson, the son of William and Janet Anderson, also of Ridgewood.

The prospective bride is a 2006 graduate of Ridgewood High School and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Richmond. She is currently an auditor at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

The prospective groom graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree in political science from

Miami University of Ohio. He is currently an associate in the talent and human resource solutions practice of Buck Consultants.

A May 2012 wedding is planned.
