'Chopped': Wyckoff's Kevin Rooney' wins Food Network's amateur championship

Wyckoff - "Chopped" champion. That's Township Committeeman Kevin Rooney's latest title, having won the Food Network's amateur cooking contest on "Chopped."
Rooney and three other contestants vied in a broadcast aired on Sunday, Feb. 24, for the distinction, rising above thousands of others.
To those who know him, it's no secret that Rooney likes to cook; others who know him as a businessman (he owns a gas station) and an elected official might be surprised at his culinary wizardry.
