The parents looked doubtful. No, they were sure. Zucchini and tofu dumplings?
"My daughter didn't eat that," says Luis Bedoya.
But a few moments earlier, 6-year-old Isabella had in fact eaten a couple of dumplings. Her 3-year-old brother, Lucas, ate some, too.
Luis and his wife Anna, of Washington Township, were shocked. Fanny Sugar, of Fort Lee, figured her 5-year-old Aidan would try the dumplings but wouldn't like them. She was half right.
So what was the trick to getting their picky eaters to not only try something new, but something healthy?
