Zendiggi Kebab House will have a "Jubilee Ribbon Cutting Celebration" from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at 228 Closter Dock Road in Closter.

Mayor Sophie Heymann and the Closter Chamber of Commerce will conduct the ceremony, which will include Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food samples, and balloons for the children.

Zendiggi means "life" in Persian, with a kaleidoscope of grilled flavors for meat and vegetarian lovers alike.

Open seven days from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Zendiggi Kebab House will serve lunch and dinner for sit-down, take-out and delivery.

The menu will include beef, chicken and salmon kebabs, rotisserie chicken and gyros.

Customers may build their own pita, platter or salad.

Side features include hummus, Mediterranean fries, and soups. Chef Ebby Tayeb, who specializes in international cuisine, will prepare the dishes.
