New Jersey has all sorts of activities planned for Super Bowl week, including concerts, parties, family fun, ice skating, tastings, celebrity appearances and more. Feb. 2 - 5-10 p.m.
Where: 181 Colfax Ave., Clifton

This is a drug-, alcohol- and gambling-free gameday zone. The Super Bowl will be shown on two 8- and 10-foot screens. Those attending are asked to bring a canned good or non-perishable item for each person (including children) to go to St. Peter's Haven food pantry. If there is no donation, entry is $5.

VH1's Super Bowl Blitz, the sixth and last of a series of pre-game concerts
Feb. 1
Where: Wellmont Theater, 5 Seymour St. in Montclair

- Nick Cannon ("America's Got Talent") and model-actress Stacy Keibler will co-host
- Performers will be announced Jan. 9

The concert series starts in Queens Jan. 27 with a show at Queens College. On Jan. 28 the blitz comes to Lehman College in the Bronx, and then on Jan. 29, there will be a show at Williamsburg's Brooklyn Bowl. Jan. 30 sees a blitz concert at Manhattan's Beacon Theatre before the events moves to Staten Island's St. George Theatre on Jan. 31.

Montclair 2014 Big Game Winter Festival
Feb. 1, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Montclair Center on Church and South Park streets

HIGHTLIGHTS: A portion of South Park Street will be closed for music, a Madden games truck, ice sculptures, Norwegian candle, kids activities and plenty more. Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon of football fun.

A town Club Crawl will follow the daytime events, from 7-10 p.m.

The Newark Museum is hosting Newark's Largest Indoor Tailgate
Jan. 28

- There will be food, drink
- View The original Vince Lombardi trophy from 1967 as part of the museum's exhibition "City of Silver and Gold: From Tiffany to Cartier," runs until March 30.
- Possible visit from David Robinson, Hall of Famer and former player for the Green Bay Packers, who got the trophy after the team emerged victorious at the first-ever Super Bowl.
