The Avalanche PeeWee A team (Ice House, Hackensack) won the Atlantic District Championship in Mennen this past Sunday. The Avalanche finished their season 18-0-2 winning the Peewee A North division. Once at Districts they continued their winning ways defeating two of three Deleware Valley teams (Wissahickon 5-3, Kings 9-4) leading to Finals matchup with Princeton. The Avalanche went up 2-1 with five seconds to go to beat the Princeton Tigers, whose record to date was 50-0-2. The Atlantic District covers Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The 12 & under A division is comprised of 54 teams.
