CBS News Correspondent for "60 Minutes" Bob Simon and Director of Communications Kevin Tedesco visited Joey Travolta and campers at the Short Film Camp for children with and without special needs at St. Peter's College in Englewood Cliffs yesterday. Mr. Simon discussed TV Production, Filming, his experience as a news correspondent and held a Q & A session to help the children with their project "30 Minutes," a take on "60 Minutes."
The camp, presented by MarbleJam Kids, is an inclusive film making experience taught by Hollywood professionals, celebrating and developing the talents and skills of ALL students (both with and without special needs). The culmination of the camp will be a 30 minute documentary and a public service announcement on autism for the state of New Jersey.
