By The Record staff report

The Wood-Ridge Moonachie Junior Football program raised $2,000 for a breast cancer survivor organization this past weekend.

The junior football program held a weekend-long "Blue Devils Night Under the Stars" using temporary lights.

On Saturday, football players wore pink socks and wristbands, and cheerleaders wore pink and blue outfits. Coaches wore pink t-shirts that said "WR Blue Devil Football - Fight Like A Girl."

The money benefitted the YSC of Northern New Jersey.
