Like many sports junkies in the area, Ray Greco roots for the local team regardless of the name and logo. Gang Green and Big Blue, Jets and Giants, Rex and Coughlin.

Despite the New York state of mind, Greco's true blue colors bled this week when he met the face of the organization that he has loyally followed for the past 35 years. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet, speak and share a plate of bacon and eggs with Giants quarterback Eli Manning on Tuesday morning at MetLife Stadium turned the Ridgewood resident and father of three into a giddy boy meeting his idol for the first time.

"You're my biggest fan," said the star-struck Greco, who was one of approximately 20 Tri-State area residents who enjoyed breakfast, photographs and a question-and-answer session with the two-time Super Bowl champion. The slip of the tongue created a room full of chuckles, including laughter from Manning.

"I am your fan," Manning assured Greco.
