PetResQ held its annual Woofstock at Municipal Circle Park in Tenafly. The day featured pet and craft vendors, live music, best doggy costume and human barking contests, adoption Red Carpet Walk, training demos, over 75 exhibits, food and more.

Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital held its 9th annual Adopt-A-Pet Day, where animal lovers came to meet over 300 pets available for adoption from 25 rescue and shelter organizations.

Cresskill American Legion hosted its 3rd annual Red, White and Que BBQ Competition and Music Festival this past weekend at the Sports Complex in Cresskill. The competition barbecue team out of Rhode Island, ZBQ, brought home first place. Proceeds went to the Gary Sinise Foundation.

Members of the Allendale/Waldwick PBA Local 217 sold T-shirts to benefit the Christopher Goodell Scholarship Fund, in memory of police officer Christopher Goodell. The fundraiser was held at the Waldwick Firehouse, where volunteers prepared to sell 2,000 shirts for the cause.

The Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department hosted its 57th annual Fire Department Fundraiser on Saturday at Memorial Field. The Fireworks Fundraiser celebrated the end of summer by hosting family-friendly events such as a fireworks display and dancing with the DJ. The day also featured food vendors, fun activities for children, and also Child Identification Kits provided by NY Life.
