George Washington Middle School's "Together Strong" team participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sept. 18 in support of GW teacher Suzanne Zilvetti who was diagnosed with breast cancer in December. With the support of her colleagues, she was able to run the 5K. The team raised over $7,000 in support of breast cancer research and outreach in the greater NY area.
