The Couture Fashion Week fashion show was held at the New Yorker Hotel this past weekend to show off the season's new exquisite fashions.
Students from Berkeley College took part in the planning and production of the show with the help of Andres Aquino, fashion designer and producer of the show.
The students helped with all aspects of the Couture Fashion Week production, including communications, backstage, reception, tailoring, design and marketing.
"I have some amazing students from [Berkely College]," said Aquino. "They're so enthusiastic, high energy, and they love the idea. For us it's great because we get the extra help. And for them, they get the experience. It's a win-win situation."
Couture Fashion Week was held on Feb. 15-17 [with above photos from Saturday, 2/16].
Started in 2003 and now in its 17th season (held multiple times per year), Couture Fashion Week is a prestigious multi-day New York event showcasing couture and luxury fashion.
Berkely College has four New Jersey locations: Woodland Park, Paramus, Woodbridge, and Newark; and four locations in New York.
