Bayne Belair's style is best described as a combination of casual bohemian, with a little luxe mixed in. "I like high/low dressing," Belair says. "Wearing a great sweater with a pair of jeans, booties and an unexpected accessory is the way I dress."

It is clear from her style that Belair favors feminine and eclectic pieces and has a bit of country flair to her wardrobe. "I like to look like myself," she says. "I'm not governed by trends and am very comfortable mixing my existing wardrobe with fresh, new styles. I want to feel feminine and youthful but not too young."

Belair has always been into style, whether it be home d‚cor, gardening or apparel, and how it all plays together as a lifestyle. Her penchant for rustic with a dash of modern and hip styles is reflected in her Ridgewood home. Exposed beams reminiscent of a barn hang from the high ceilings in her living room, while the plaid couches, yellow-gold walls and fireplace give the room a cozy ski chalet vibe. An oversized vintage Louis Vuitton trunk blends nicely in the library, which is draped in plaid fabric on the walls. Her love for travel, reading and antiques is reflected throughout her home, as every decorative table holds books on travel and spectacular pieces line the bookshelves.

And it's no wonder Belair has a very distinct sense of style; she was the women's apparel buyer for Urban Outfitters Corporation and also headed their merchandising and public relations for twelve years. Belair's husband, Scott, is a co-founder of Urban Outfitters Corporation, which operates five retail brands including Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain and BHLDN.

Belair is a stay-at-home mom, active in organizations such as Children's Aid and Family Services, the Ridgewood YMCA and The Promise Foundation. And now that her three children are older (she has a son and daughter in college and her other son is at Ridgewood High School), she plans on traveling more with Scott. The Mayan Ruins are their first stop this March. Belair also loves to spend time at their summer home in Bay Head with her family.
