The Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation held an American Girl Fashion Show yesterday at the John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack to benefit the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital.

Girls ages 5 through 12 walked the runway and showed off their outfits and their matching dolls, wearing American Girl Historical Character outfits, Contemporary Day and Nightwear outfits, and Bitty Baby outfits available in the American Girl catalog.

The show featured a variety of historical and contemporary fashions demonstrating how clothing has changed over the years to reflect history, culture and girls' individual styles.

Additional fashion shows will be held at the John Theurer Cancer Center today, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and tomorrow, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
