The Gregory M. Hirsch Heart Foundation presented a Philips EPIQ 7 Ultrasound system to The Gregory M. Hirsch Center for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at The Pediatric Center for Heart Disease, a division of the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center.

The Hirsch Foundation is dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac death by pro-actively identifying at risk children and young adults through comprehensive screening and early detection.

The new ultrasound machine is capable of producing highly detailed ultrasound images to further the Hirsch Center’s mission in providing individualized care, diagnosis, treatment and support to patients and families with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other heart related conditions.
