Englewood’s Dr. Jennifer Ashton has joined the team of ABC’s "The Revolution," a new daily show about health and lifestyle transformations, debuting in January 2012. Dr. Ashton is set to co-host with Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry, Ty Pennington, Tim Gunn and Harley Pasternak.

As a women’s health expert, Dr. Jennifer Ashton is passionate about bringing up-to-the-minute medical information that will transform health, save money and might just save a life.  A graduate of Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Ashton is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is an attending physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, N.J., an affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Ashton has served as a medical correspondent for CBS News and a medical contributor for Fox News.  She has been a regular guest expert on “The Dr. Oz Show,” and has also been a featured expert on XM Radio's “Oprah & Friends” with Dr. Mehmet Oz and appeared on TLC's “A Baby Story” and on PBS.  She is the author of the award-winning book, “The Body Scoop for Girls,” and of “Your Body Beautiful” (due out January 5, 2012).

Dr. Ashton is an advocate for patients, especially women, and will help them to demand the best for themselves and from their doctors when it comes to their health and family.

Executive Producer JD Roth said, “With ‘The Revolution,’ each woman’s journey takes place over five months, but viewers get to see it unfold in just five days, during which time they'll also learn how to revolutionize different areas of their own lives. With the expertise of the panel we have assembled, 'The Revolution' will be an exciting, inspirational template for transformation for women all over the world.”
