Fairleigh Dickinson University hosted the unveiling of the model of the planned Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. statue at the Rothman Center in Hackensack this past Tuesday, kicking off the fundraising campain to build the full-scale statue.

The 33-inch model, created by scluptor Richard Blake, will be erected into a 7-foot-tall monument on the Hackensack River Pathway, to be dedicated soon after its planned completion in May 2014.
