Tenafly Middle School students Mason Paulen and Molly Shultz hosted Tenafly Skate Night this past Thursday at Palisades Center Ice Rink in West Nyack, N.Y. to raise money for The Todd Ouida Children’s Foundation and Tenafly’s Educational Foundation.

The Todd Ouida Children’s Foundation was founded by Todd’s family after he was killed in the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. Its mission is to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of childhood anxiety and depression as well as to fund charities that support children’s mental health.

The Tenafly Educational Foundation funds innovative programming, teacher initiated grants, and equipment/technology that the school budget does not cover. They aim to enhance both the academic and social experience of Tenafly’s student population.

The event was sponsored by UBS Bank , Honda of Tenafly and 1st 2nd Mortgage Co. of Tenafly.
