Employees from CareOne in Teaneck, Valley, Cresskill, Wayne, Oradell Healthcare Center, Woodcrest Health Care Center, and CareOne corporate teamed up to benefit #SaveDan.
Earlier this year, longtime CareOne employee Dan Grimes was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. A father of fou, Dan is in his early 40s and has never been a smoker. CareOne, a senior care company, has come to his aid by working with resources statewide in both New Jersey and Massachusetts to raise vital funds to help #SaveDan.
The company has established the CareOne Cancer Fund In Honor Of Dan Grimes, Inc. to provide financial assistance to individuals and families impacted by cancer as well as provide funds to research organizations. Dan Grimes and his family will receive the initial grants.
The softball tournament is part of the overall effort to raise $1 million for The CareOne Cancer Fund to support Dan and his family so he can continue to receive treatment.
