Quiz Cam, Nov. 21, 2011: Is Ridgewood in the Thanksgiving spirit?
By Bergen.com

Episode 23: Quizmaster Ryan Greene parades through Ridgewood with this week's Bergen Thanksgiving puzzler.

THE QUESTION: For the first time in 43 years, what annual November tradition now starts in Moonachie?

THE ANSWER: (scroll down)

THE ANSWER:  Previously designed and housed in a warehouse studio in Hoboken, the mammoth Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons and floats are now produced by Macy's artists from their newly completed parade studio in Moonachie. The unveiling of the new building — a 72,000-square-foot industrial structure with 44- to 46-foot high ceilings — tall enough to float parade balloons and to construct giant floats — took place last month, one year to the day after Macy’s and Russo Development of Carlstadt broke ground on the building.
