Bergen County resident, Heather Braverman stars in the new movie, “Night Has Settled,” directed by Steve Clark, which features Braverman as Lila, the girlfriend of the film’s main character, Oliver Nicholas. “Night Has Settled” won The Jury Award for Best Showcase Feature Film at the SOHO Film Festival on Sunday, May 18. The indie film premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Palm Beach International Film Festival.
Braverman has had roles in NBC’s Law and Order SVU & CI, CBS’s Guiding Light and ABC’s One Life to Live. Film credits include the role of Samantha in the feature, Jeremy Fink and The Meaning of Life. Her most recent musical theater credit includes the role of Billie in the musical premiere Getting The Band Back Together, directed by John Rando at the George Street Playhouse. A singer, songwriter and guitarist, Heather is currently working on her first solo album.
Heather serves as a spokesperson for the FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education). Heather was a featured speaker at the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) Convention in Virginia.
