The 33rd annual Rubin Run to benefit the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades was held yesterday at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly. Attendees also enjoyed a kids carnival and brunch.
The Rubin Run is named for the late Leonard Rubin, a past president and founder of the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, who established this community wide athletic event to encourage and promote healthy living. It is now held on Mother’s Day each year as a way for families to share health lifestyles and spend meaningful time together. Planned as a competitive and family friendly athletic event, it offers something for everyone – a 10K, a 5K run/walk, and, for the first time this year, a half marathon.
