Buddy Valastro of TLC's show Cake Boss stopped in at Bookends in Ridgewood yesterday to sign copies of his new cookbook, "Cooking Italian with the Cake Boss."
Valastro, owner of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, also announced that the planned opening of a Ridgewood location for the bakery has been delayed by recent storms, but is set to open by the end of the year. The bakery will be his first in Bergen County, and will feature an "open kitchen" allowing customers to see cakes as they are being made.
