The 2012 Hermitage Rose Ball was held Friday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Friends of the Hermitage. The evening featured cocktails and viewing of silent auction items, followed by dinner and dancing.
The 2012 gala honors Patricia and Michael Kraynak of Ridgewood with Hermitage Humanitarian Awards; Jeffrey Steccato of Haviland Studio in Ho-Ho-Kus with the Humanitarian Award to a Local Business; and Carol W. Greene with an Outstanding Volunteer Award. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Hermitage Annual Fund, which provides for the preservation and interpretation of the Hermitage National Historic Landmark and for the museum's educational programs for children and adults.
