All 4 Kids Foundation and the Max Cure Foundation for pediatric cancer causes held its Trent Tucker All 4 Kids Celebrity Gala last night. The night started with a Private Tour of Ground Zero Memorial for the celebrities and sponsors of the event. The Red Carpet & Gala followed at STK including dinner, open bar, a silent and live auction and live music. The evening benefited two great causes by raising funds and awareness to provide an educational and moral platform for the students of the Trent Tucker University Scholars Program and to raise money and awareness for the The Max Cure Foundation for pediatric cancer causes. Max Plotkin, the inspiration behind The Max Cure Foundation, was honored by athletes and celebrities on hand including Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries, New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson, Country music singer Clay Walker, Country music singer Sarah Marince, former New York Met Howard Johnson, former New York Giant Howard Cross, Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Byron Scott, former New York Knicks Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, Greg Anthony and John Starks.
The All 4 Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) committed to educating at-risk youth academically, personally, socially and physically through a curriculum that expands their horizons and encourages them to participate in new areas of learning. The Max Cure Foundation (MCF) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to advancing cures for pediatric cancers, funding the development of less toxic treatments for children, including the funding of an immune cell therapy lab at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center dedicated to alternative treatments for children battling the disease.
