THE ANSWER:  Englewood store owner Richard LaMotta put a slab of vanilla ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies and created the now-legendary Chipwich. The catchy name for the frozen treat was chosen from entries in a contest LaMotta held to find the best way to describe his new invention.
