The FATE Foundation held a private "Hand Over the Handbag" fundraiser yesterday. The event featured notables such as Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita, ABC News anchor Lori Stokes, Malaak Compton-Rock and Amber Sabathia.

FATE was established to provide targeted and sustained training for teachers and related personnel who work directly with children with autism in public schools.  FATE strives to help individuals with autism achieve their highest level of independence within their home, school and community.
