The holiday spirit was in the air Dec. 12 at Bogota's annual tree lighting in front of Borough Hall.

The hour-long event, organized by the Recreation Commission in conjunction with Bogota Girl Scouts, drew about 150 attendees, who braved the cold weather to hear the Girl Scouts caroling, meet with Santa, and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies at the West Broad Street firehouse.
